Quite good, could be better
Appart from the fact that the game is quite unfair and sides are often unbalanced, it is fun to play. Occasionally you find guys with invincible tanks. I have all tanks and all of them in full armor and equipment, I know the weak spots, but it is sometimes impossible to defeat some of these invincible opponents. They have faster tank (smaller tank with weaker armor), they shoot at someone else, so you have a clean shot at them and plenty of time, and you just cannot penetrate them, several direct hits, I see the shell hit the tank and you just seem to be extremely unlucky and cannot get a hit from 10m counted as damage to the opponent’s tank, yet one shot from them into the front of your heavy tank (the strongest armor is in the front) and you are gone. Perhaps they use cracked version of the game (since the game is digitally signed, could it be on Windows?) Another issue is the fact that the game often freezes when opponent fires, especially fire shell. This could be caused by integrated graphics, where visual effects for fire are probably generated as particle effect and integrated graphics cannot quite handle that. If the scene is more complex and you use tank with more polygons and better textures it is even worse, almost unplayable. You try to turn cannon towards opponent and quickly fire if the opponent is close, but if the opponent fires fire shell at the same time, the game freezes and you fire into a completely random direction. If there are 2 opponents firing at you, you cannot even aim your cannon, because graphics rendering intermittently freezes (perhaps frame rate just goes down to less than 2 frames per second). You could set lowest graphics quality, but then you cannot really play, because you see very few obstacles at distance, so you fire at tanks, but shells hit obstacles. It would be nice if you could just leave normal graphics quality setting and disable fire effects. It was a lot better in some previous version of the game, but I guess they wanted to improve graphics effects, so with integrated graphics without dedicated memory, there are some difficulties playing this game.
If authors could make some improvements to make strength of each side more balanced, if you could disable each visual effect individually, and if players couldn’t cheat, if you could change color of your tank when a match starts (urban, desert, forest, snow camouflage should match the scene) it would be absolutely perfect game.
